TIFFANY MELENDEZ

COACH TIFFANY

Coach Tiffany joined FCA Lacrosse in 2022, and she has been a great addition to the coaching staff! As a Buffalo native, Tiffany grew up playing lacrosse. She attended Roberts Wesleyan College, and played all four years while she was at Roberts. Her coaching career started with Webster Schroeder JV girls’ lacrosse team.

What is your experience with lacrosse?

Coach Tiffany started playing lacrosse in 8th grade, and since she was a speedy player she found herself taking the draw and playing midfield. When she was pulled up to Varsity she transitioned to defense, and never looked back. Her favorite play to make in lacrosse was getting interceptions and any form of a caused turnover. At Roberts, Coach Tiffany was a starting defensive midfielder, and lead the team in caused turnovers. In Spring 2021, Roberts won the conference title, and had the opportunity to compete in the NCAA tournament making it all the way to final four.

What Coach Tiffany loves most about coaching is building relationships and connections with the girls and within the team. She appreciates the opportunity to share her insight and knowledge of lacrosse and teach something new to the girls.

Coach Tiffany coaches with FCA because her faith is very important to her. It guides her and helps Coach Tiffany overall to be a better person and bless those around her. She loves the incorporation of faith and lacrosse. They are two things that she is passionate about in life, and it’s all in one at FCA. She values community and family and saw that this was what FCA Lacrosse was about and wanted to be a part of it.
